This contest is designed to identify and reward an individual, group of individuals or companies who have developed a good software project. The software project can be under any domain and of any use. Motivating software development across multiple platforms and languages, different technology-based projects will be awarded in the Software Talent Contest. The contest is completely free of charge and there are cash prizes for winners and runners-up.


How it Works

To take part in Software Talent Contest, click here to sign up. Once you have signed up by providing us the details of your project and the domain to which it belongs, (e.g. Banking, HR etc) we will call you to present and demonstrate your project. In the presentation ceremony, all the other participants of the contest and our jury of software experts will be present. The selection of winners and runners-up will be done 50% on the basis of jury assessment and 50% on the basis of rating of project, as determined by the other participants.

Criteria for Evaluation
Your project will be evaluated in terms of the following criteria:

  • How much practical and useful your project is — Jury will evaluate if your project is serving the purpose well, as intended by you.
  • Which technology you have used to develop your project — Jury will evaluate if it was the best technology available in terms of cost effectiveness and efficiency.
  • What time you took to develop the project — Jury will evaluate everything from the time constraints to comparing time and efficiency of your project.
  • Jury will also evaluate your project in terms of user-friendliness and many other things.

Cash Prizes for Winners

Prizes will be both for industry specific projects and for the project that is best among all the industries.

Winners of industry-specific projects will win a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 + certificate.

Winner of the overall contest will win a cash prize of Rs. 2, 00,000 + certificate.
