About the Department

To ensure that Axactians can continue to savor the delights of Axact’s in-built 24-hour cafeteria, Axact has a Food and Beverage Management Department. This department is devoted entirely to food and beverage management. It oversees all the operations of the cafeteria, including preparing and serving of meals and Beverage to its employees. The department also oversees the inventory, the ordering and serving of food, and the planning and budgeting of menu items. Additionally, it also provides food catering service for various corporate events.

What Will I Do?

You will manage all the operations of the Axact cafeteria and implement internationally accepted standard procedures as stated in Hotel Management Modules. Further on managing Food & Beverage services, menu, production, cost controlling, food audits and maintaining all relevant equipments along with coordinating with food management staff, you will also be responsible for timely reporting of raw material and other supplies purchase and cost control.

    • Sound knowledge of Food & Beverage Products & Services

    • Understanding of Inventory Management System
    • MS Office Skills
  • Suitable Profile

    • Graduate - Mandatory
    • Master / Diploma in Hotel Management - Preferred
    • 3 - 5 Years of Experience - Mandatory

You will be responsible for managing operations of cafeteria and other establishments that prepare and serve meals & Beverage to employees; overseeing the inventory, ordering & serving of food, and planning & budgeting of menu items. You will also manage food services for different corporate events.

  • Preferred Skill Set

    • Strong planning, execution skills and people management skills
    • Food presentation and taste evaluation skills
    • Budgeting & forecasting on the basis of budget report and feasibility analysis
  • Suitable Profile

    • Minimum bachelor's or equivalent from a reputable institute, preferably a degree in hotel management
    • 2-5 years of experience in food management operations in a restaurant, hotel, or catering industry

You will be responsible for the overall management of kitchen and ensuring smooth
running of all kitchen operations 24/7. Your responsibilities will include coordinating menu plans and enforcing kitchen, personal and food hygiene. You should be able to direct and supervise the preparation of a variety Pakistani, Chinese and continental dishes and snacks.

  • Suitable Profile

    • Preferably graduate
    • Having food related certification⁄diplomas would be an added advantage
    • 3-6 years experience of managing 24⁄7 kitchen operations preferably in a five star hotel
